N2  - In this paper we measure the contribution and importance of Turkish Tourism Sector to the National Economy  The study also covers the projections of tourism aggregations for the the 1987 1990 period   The study consists of two sections  In the first section economic importance of tourism movements in Turkey is examined  In the second section the projections of tourism sector is analyzed   ÖZET Bu çalışmada  Türkiye’de turizm sektörü genel hatlarıyla incelenmiş  1976 1986  ve turizm sektörü ile ilgili turistik talep projeksiyonlarından da yararlanılarak 1987 1990 dönemine ait turist sayıları  turizm gelirleri  turizm giderleri ve turizm yatırımları tahmin edilmeye çalışılmıştır   Çalışma esas olarak iki bölümden oluşmaktadır  Birinci bölümde  turizm sektörünün milli ekonomi içindeki yeri  milli gelir ve toplam döviz gelirlerimiz dikkate alınarak incelenmekte  ikinci bölümde ise turizm sektörüyle ilgili projeksiyonlara yer verilmektedir
