AB  - Strengthening the Court Management SystemProject, which was initiated in 2007 jointly with the Council of Europe is aproject developed to solve the problems in judicial system. In this context, newtype of courtroom type has been established and some changes have been made withthe existing courthouse buildings of Turkey within the scope of courtmanagement system. Some of these changes include establishment of informationdesks and front offices, limited corridor system, and common use courtrooms. In2013, an introductory book was published to facilitate the implementation ofthese decisions and to introduce the new system. In this paper, new type courtroomdesign is discussed and exemplified through the instances of Ordu AnnexCourthouse of Turkey and Honefoss Courthouse of Norway.
