Water mites samples used inthe study were collected from Lake Karamik (Afyonkarahisar Turkey) betweenApril to October 2015. Molecular analysis of the samples were carried out inthe laboratory environment. The gDNA from each sample were isolated and the 28SrDNA gene region amplified. It was observed that the molecular analysis resultsobtained were in agreement with the classical systematic classification resultsfor each species used in the study.
