Cross over design was utilized while carrying out the research. All participants completed four different stretching trials (15s, 30s, 45s, control), performed on different days at least seven days apart, in the same period of training microcycle, in a counterbalanced order. After low-intensity aerobic exercise subjects applied 15s static stretching, 30s static stretching, 45s static stretching and low-intensity aerobic exercise without any stretching application. Subjects performed 20m sprint, static balance and anaerobic power test after each stretching protocol. Differing duration of static stretching methods was compared by repeated-measures ANOVA. Arithmetic mean and Standard deviation of all values were calculated.

 Results: There was no effect of the stretching duration on anaerobic power, static balance and velocity performance (p > 0,05).

 Conclusion: Our findings concluded that static stretching duration has no effect on velocity, balance and anaerobic power performance.
}, number={3}, publisher={İbrahim ERDEMİR}
