AB  - Amaç: Günümüzde çocuklarda travmasonrası genital ve perineal yaralanmalar sık görülmektedir.Çoğu zaman üretrayıilgilendiren bu yaralanmalar inkontinans ve üriner obstrüksiyon gibi önemlikomplikasyonlarla sonlanmaktadır. Üretra tıkanmalarında dilatasyon, internal veeksternal üretrotomi, üretrotomi ve dilatasyonlarla birlikte steroidenjeksiyonu bazı olgularda sürekli olmayan iyileşmeler sağlayabilmekte, bununlabirlikte çoğu zaman üretroplastiye ihtiyar duyulmaktadır. Biyolojik olmayan çeşitliyapıdaki maddeler tüp veya yama halinde üretra lezyonlarının giderilmesi içinkullanılmışlardır. Yöntem: Üretra protezleri ile yapılandeneysel çalışmalar genellikle protezin yerinden ayrılması, bakteriyelenfeksiyon, protezin kollapsına ve granülasyon dokusuna bağlı tam tıkanma vedarlık oluşumu, üretroperineal fistüller ve protez üzerinde taş oluşması, üretraonarımında bu maddelerin kullanma ümidini azaltmıştır. Bulgular: Bu amaçla deneysel çalışmamızdatavşan modelinde üretra devre dışı bırakılarak 3,5cm'lik tübülerize edilmiştutoplastın bir ucu mesane ile ağızlaştırılmış ve karın içine gömüldükten sonradış ağız deriye açılmıştır. Sonuç: Bu çalışma sonunda tutoplasttan oluşturulan tübüniçinin epitelize olduğu, divertikül ve darlık oluşmadığı görülerek bu maddeninfonksiyon gören neoüretra elde etmek için uygun olduğu görülmüştür.

N2  - Objective: Genitaland perineal injuries are curently frequently encountered results of trauma inchildren. These injuries which usually involve the urethra, lead tocomplications such as incontinence and urinary obstruction. In urethralobstruction, while dilatation with internal and external urethrotomy,urethrotomy and dilatation together with steroid injections may producetemporary improvement in some cases, uroplasty is indicated in the majority ofpatients various non biological materials have been used tubal and patch formsto repair urethral lesions. But it has shown that the tubes are usually coveredwith urinary tract epithelium. Methods: However,dislodgement of the prothesis, bacterial infection, collaps of the prothesis,obstruction and strictures due to granulation tissue, urethroperineal fistulasand stone formation have considerably reduced hopes of success. Results: In ourinvestigation the use of tutoplast in construction of a tubular structure atleast 3.5 cm length which could replace the urethral tissue. The tutoplast tubeopposed to the bladder and after, embedding it in the abdominal wall, theouther mouth of the tube opened to the skin surface. Conclusion: At the end of this investigation we found thatthe inner surface of the tutoplast epitheliased and narrowing or stricture didnot develop. The role of the tutoplast in urethroplasty is excellent.
