AB  - Aksaraylı Îsâ lived in the XIVth centuryaround Konya and Aksaray. It is understood from his works that he received agood education and was familiar with religious sciences. Only four of his workshave survived today. If the literature is reviewed, new works may be revealed.The subjects he dealt with are about religion and morality. He aimed topopularize Islam and to explain some simple religious information to the publicthrough his works. In this study, Hikâyet-i Şuhmâ of Aksaraylı Îsâ, which isregistered at Ankara National Library 06 Mil Yz A 6823/2, is studied. There isonly one known copy of the work. Hikâyet-i Şuhmâ has not been the subject ofany scientific studies so far. In this study, the transcribed text, translationand index of the story has been given and various literary and philologicalstudies have been conducted on the work. Thus, it was aimed to introduce thework to the scientific world and also to contribute to the studies on AksaraylıÎsâ, one of the meddâh poets of the 14th century.
