Case Report: A case of multifocal group B streptococcal infection with sepsis, meningitis, ventriculitis, osteomyelitis and abscesses in a newborn infant was reported.Ventriculitis is often thought of as a secondary complication of acute group Bstreptococcal meningitis. Conclusion: Multifocal group B streptococcal infection is rare and group B streptococcalventriculitis should be suspected in cases that are refractory to treatment or in patientswho later develop hydrocephalus CR - 1.
