AB  - İzmir’in içme suyu kaynakları arasında en önemlilerden biri olan Tahtalı Baraj Gölü’nün zooplankton kompozisyonunun belirlenmesi amacıyla, Mayıs 2006 ile Nisan 2007 tarihleri arasında aylık dönemlerle arazi çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Seçilen 3 istasyondan, 55 m göz açıklığına sahip plankton kepçesi kullanılarak horizontal ve vertikal olarak örnekler alınmıştır. Arazide plastik şişeler içinde, % 4’lük formol ile tespit edilen örnekler laboratuvarda stereomikroskop ve binoküler mikroskop kullanılarak tayin edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda Rotifera’dan 37, Cladocera’dan 20, Copepoda’dan 8 olmak üzere toplam 65 takson saptanmıştır
