Data from 213 employees indicated a positive effect on organizational identification for both transformational and transactional leadership. Regarding individual differences, the positive relationship of transformational leadership and organizational identification was stronger for individuals of separated self-schema whereas the positive relationship of transactional leadership and organizational idendfication was stronger for individuals of connected self schema.
