(Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)] under field conditions in pomegranate orchards in Şanlıurfa province during the years 2011 and 2012. Delta pheromone traps were used to determine population development of carob moth in Şanlıurfa Central and Siverek counties. HOBO data logger was used to record temperature hourly in order to calculate degree-day values of the pest in Şanliurfa Central and Siverek counties. As a result of the study, carob moth populations peaked four times per year in Şanlıurfa Central and Siverek counties. Degree-days of the first flight, the last flight and the peak points of the population of the pest were determined. Detection of first adults of carob moths required 403.86 and 294.48 degree days in Şanliurfa Central and Siverek counties, respectively. The four peak points of the adult population of the carob moth calculated as 1642.19, 2374.25, 2754.76 and 3107.46 degree-days respectively in Şanlıurfa Central county and 1218.45, 1595.80, 2109.57 and 2409.71 degree-days, respectively in Siverek county.}, number={2}, publisher={Türkiye Entomoloji Derneği}
