AB  - Tokat, tarihte birçok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmış Anadolu’daki eski şehirlerden biridir. XI. asrın sonlarındaTürk hâkimiyetine giren Tokat şehrinde Danişmentli, Selçuklu ve Osmanlı dönemlerinde cami,mescid, medrese, imaret, zâviye, han, hamam ve türbe gibi çok sayıda dinî, sosyal, ekonomik ve kültüreleserler vücuda getirilmiştir. Bu eserlerin vücuda getirilmesinde Tokat’ın doğu-batı, güney-kuzeye gidenyol güzergâhında bulunması, ılıman iklimi ve verimli tarım toprakları ile zengin bir sosyo-ekonomik potansiyelesahip olmasının rolü büyüktür. Osmanlı ülkesinin genelinde olduğu gibi, Tokat’ta tesis edilmişolan dinî, sosyal, kültürel ve iktisadî eserler, vakıf akarlar yardımı ile varlığını idame ettirmiştir.Bu makalede Osmanlı döneminde Tokat’taki ikinci ulu cami olarak değerlendirilen Takyeciler Camii vakıflarıele alınacaktır. Caminin inşa kitabesi olmamakla birlikte, vakıf kayıtları yapının 15. yüzyılda inşaedildiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu cami XII-XX. asırlar arasında Tokat şehir merkezinde inşa edilen 17caminin en büyüklerinden biridir. Camiinin vakıfları hakkında sınırlı zaman dilimlerini kapsayan ve azsayıda belge incelemesine dayanan bazı münferit çalışmalar bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada arşivlerinmuhtelif fonlarındaki belgeler ve Tokat Şer‘iye Sicillerindeki kayıtlar yardımı ile başlangıcından günümüzekadar Takyeciler Camii’nin bütün vakıf akarları incelenecektir. Caminin inşası sonrasında bakımve onarımı ile görevlilerinin maaşı için bir vakıf tesis edilmiştir. Ayrıca bazı hayır sahipleri camii için ilavevakıflar kurmuşlardır. İncelemenin amacı, Takyeciler Camii vakıflarını bütün yönleriyle ele alarak Tokat’ınsosyo-kültürel tarihine katkı sağlamaktır.

N2  - Tokat is one of the oldest cities in Anatolia, which has hosted many civilizations in history. In the city ofTokat, which fell under Turkish rule in the late XIth century, many religious, social, economic and culturalartifacts such as mosques, small mosques, seminary schools, soup kitchens, lodges, inns, public bathsand tombs were constructed during the Danismendid, Seljukid and Ottoman periods. Thanks to its mildclimate and fertile agricultural lands, Tokat, situated on the east-west, south-north road route, had arich socio-economic potential which played a great role in the foundation of many waqfs in the city. Asin the rest of the Ottoman Empire, the religious, social, economic and cultural buildings of the Tokatwaqfs have survived with the help of waqfs revenues.This article will examine the Takyeciler Mosque waqfs, which are considered as the second grandmosque in Tokat during the Ottoman period. Although the mosque building does not have an inscription,the waqf records reveal that the building was built in the 15th century. This mosque was one of thelargest of 17 mosques built in the city center of Tokat between XII and XXth centuries. There are someindividual studies on the waqfs of the mosque which cover limited time periods and base on a review ofsmall number of documents. In this study, all the waqf revenues of the Takyeciler mosque will be examinedfrom the beginning until today with the help of archival documents from various collections andrecords in Tokat Şer‘iye Registers. After the construction of the mosque, a waqf has been establishedfor itsmaintenance and repair and for the salary of employees.In addition, some benefactors have setup additional waqfs supporting the mosque. The aim of the study is to contribute to the socio-culturalhistory of Tokat by examining the Takyeciler Mosque waqfs from all aspects.
