Born in Meridianville, 1961 anniversary. He studied at the New York Student Art Society in 1976 and joined the Cooper Community in 1981. He held his first solo exhibition in 1985 in New York. Dawson’s work has a wide range of human themes, such as our place in death and the universe: their work, the continuity of human nature and culture, and the timekeeping. While entering popular culture, his paintings explore the mathematical and astronomical signs in some folklore, calendars and astrology. Although busy with symbolic reference, Dawson’s visual language doesn’t try to idealize his topic. Rather, the painting style is self-influencing and localized, carefully assessing composition and detail narration. The book aims to introduce artistic and intellectual features to the reader.}, number={2}, publisher={Ege Üniversitesi}
