The study was done through the utilization of the flexibility rule of the existing curriculum. Examination of the potential objectives identified from the elementary science and technology program showed that the fourteen percent (14%) of them from grades 4 through 8 could be reconsidered and modified in terms of teaching and learning consistent with the physical and natural aspects of the geographical region in which the school is located. This result is apparently crucial for meaningful learning and construction of knowledge. Incorporation of science and technology objectives with the local physical conditions of each geographical region obviously presents an essential opportunity for developing new effective teaching strategies and creative learning environments for students and educators as well. This would also help the knowledge transfer across disciplines via such an inter-disciplinary study. </p>}, number={2}
