Sportif performans araştırmalarında kor bölgesi ile alt ekstremite arasındaki kuvvet dengesizliklerinin kas yaralanmalarına neden olacağı bildirilmiştir. Buradan hareketle, atletizm atmalar (cirit ve disk) ve atlamalar (uzun atlama) branşında izokinetik bacak kuvvetleri ile gövde (trunk) kor bölge kuvvetleri incelenerek yaptıkları branşa özgü her hangi bir ilişki olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Mersin bölgesinde atletizmde lisanslı yaşları 17,5 ± 2.57 olan; disk atma (n=6), cirit atma (n=6) ve uzun atlama (n=6), branşlarından olmak üzere; 9 erkek, 9 kadın toplam 18 sporcunun izokinetik bacak kuvveti 60°sn hızlarda; gövde (core) kuvveti; İzokinetik Dinamometre ve Trunk dinamometre ile (Cybex Humac Norm Testing & Rehabilitation System, USA) 120°/60°sn açısal hızlarda, vücut kompozisyonları (boy:173.33±9,87; kilo:70,51±14,76; VKİ: 23,13± 3,17) ise TANITA BC-418MA segmentel vücut analiz tartısı ile ölçülmüştür. Disk atan bireylerde sağ sol bacak kuvvetleri ile trunk 1200 ve 600 Ex (r=.921, r=.917 p KW - izokinetik kuvvet KW - kor kuvvet KW - atletizm KW - atmalar KW - atlamalar N2 - Lower leg strength and upper extremity strength are important for maximizing performance in athletics. In sports performance studies, it has been reported that force imbalances between the core region and lower extremities will cause muscle injuries. From this point of view, isokinetic leg forces and trunk core forces are investigated in throwing (javelin and discus) and jumping (long jump) events in athletics. In the Mersin region, the licensed age was 17.50 ± 2.57; discus throwers (n = 6), javelin throwers (n = 6) and long jumpers (n = 6), including; Isokinetic leg strength of 18 athletes (9 males, 9 females) at 60°s; core strength; Isokinetic Dynamometer and trunk dynamometer (Cybex Humac Norm Testing and Rehabilitation System, USA) at 120° / 60° sec angular velocities, body compositions (height: 173.33 ± 9.87; weight: 70.51 ± 14.76; BMI: 23,13 ± 3,17) and Tanita BC-418 segmental body analysis scale.
