AB  - Çalışma anonim şirketlerde Uyum'a odaklanmaktadır. Yazarın Türkçe'ye “Uyum” olarakçevirdiği Compliance kavramı, anonim şirketlerde,hem şirket ve çalışanlarının hukuka uygun davranmasını sağlamayı, hem de hukuka aykırı şirketfaaliyetlerini önlemeyi amaçlayan bir işlevi ifadeetmektedir. Yazar, şirketlerde geçmişe yönelik yerinegetirilen denetimin Uyum bakımından yeterli olmadığını ifade ederek mevzuatta gerekli düzeltmelerin yapılmasını önermektedir. Uyum üzerine Türkanonim şirketler hukukundaki ilk çalışma olaneserin şirketler hukuku literatüründe önemli biryere sahip olacağı değerlendirilmektedir

The concept of Compliance, translatedinto Turkish by the author as "Uyum", refersto a function that aims to ensure that the companyand its employees act in accordance with the lawand prevent their unlawful corporate activities. Theauthor states that the retrospective audit in companiesis not sufficient to comply with the law andsuggests the necessary amendments in the legislation.The work, which is the first study in Turkishjoint stock company law on compliance, will havean important place in the corporate law literature.
