AB  - Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kariyere İlişkin Ebeveyn Destek Algısı Ölçeği’nin (KİEDAÖ) Türkçeye uyarlanması ve psikometrik özelliklerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu ortaokul ve lisede öğrenim gören 351 ergen (196 kız, 144 erkek ve 11 herhangi bir cinsiyet belirtmeyen katılımcı) oluşturmaktadır. KİEDAÖ’nün geçerlik çalışması kapsamında yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizine göre ölçek orijinalinde olduğu gibi Destekleyici, Müdahale Edici ve İlgisiz olmak üzere üç alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Benzer ölçek geçerliği kapsamında Kariyer Seçiminde Aile Etkisi Ölçeği (KSAEÖ) ile KİEDAÖ’nün Destekleyici ve Müdahale Edici alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönlü, KSAEÖ ile KİEDAÖ’nün İlgisiz alt boyutu arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu görülmüştür. Ölçeğin Cronbach’s Alpha (α) ve McDonald’s Omega (ω) iç tutarlık katsayıları Destekleyici alt boyutu için .86, Müdahale Edici alt boyutu için .84, İlgisiz alt boyutu için .83 bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak bu bulgular, Kariyere İlişkin Ebeveyn Destek Algısı Ölçeği’nin ortaokul ve lise öğrencilerinin kariyere ilişkin ebeveynlerinden algıladıkları desteği değerlendirebilmek için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.

N2  - The present study aims to adapt the Perception of Career-Related Parental Support Scale (PCRPSS) into Turkish and investigate its psychometric properties on adolescents. The sample consisted of 351 adolescents (196 girls, 144 boys, and 11 participants who do not state any gender) studying in secondary and high schools. The confirmatory factor analysis, carried out within the scope of the construct validity of the PCRPSS, confirmed the original three-factor structures as Support, Interference, and Lack of Engagement. For concurrent validity, significant relationships were found between the subscales of the PCRPSS and Family Influence Scale (FIS). According to these results, FIS positively correlated with Support and Interference Subscales and negatively correlated with the Lack of Engagement subscale. Cronbach's Alpha (α) and McDonald's Omega (ω) internal consistency coefficients of scale were both found .86 for the Support subscale, .84 for the Interference subscale, and .83 for the Lack of Engagement subscale. In conclusion, the results indicated that the PCRPSS could be considered as a valid and reliable tool to evaluate middle school and high school students’ perceptions of their parents’ career-related behaviors.
