AB  - Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının algılarına göre öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumlarını belirlemektir. Bu araştırma,öğretmen adaylarının algılarına göre öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumlarını belirlemeye yönelik kesitsel tarama modeli biçimindedir.Araştırmanın örneklemini, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nde öğrenimlerini sürdüren toplam 489 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır.Çalışmada öğretmen adaylarının algılarına göre öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla Tanel, Şengören ve Tanel(2007) geliştirilen “Öğretmenlik mesleğine bakış açısı tutum ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan ölçme aracı, 2019-2020 öğretimyılı Mart ayı içerisinde, öğretmen adaylarına araştırmacı tarafından gerekli ön açıklama yapılmak suretiyle uygulanarak veriler toplanmıştır.Öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutuma yönelik algıların “kararsızım” düzeyinde olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkintutuma yönelik algılar arasında sınıf değişkenine göre anlamlı bir fark olduğu bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutuma yönelikalgılar cinsiyet, yetiştiği mekân ve ekonomik durum değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemiştir. Öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkintutumun olumlu olmasını sağlamak amacıyla öğretmenlik meslek seçiminin etkin bir rehberlikle daha bilinçli seçimi sağlanabilir

N2  - The purpose of this study is to determine the attitudes of pre-service teachers towards the teaching profession according to their perceptions.This research is in the form of a cross-sectional survey model aiming to determine the attitudes of pre-service teachers towards the teachingprofession according to their perceptions. The sample of the study consists of 489 students who continue their education in the Faculty ofEducation at Hacettepe University. In the study, “Perspective attitude scale towards the teaching profession” developed by Tanel, Şengörenand Tanel (2007) was used to determine the attitudes of teacher candidates towards the teaching profession according to their perceptions.The measurement tool used in the study was applied to the teacher candidates in March 2019-2020 academic year by the researcher, andthe data were collected. It has been observed that the perceptions about the attitude towards the teaching profession are at the level of“indecisive”. It was found that there is a significant difference between the perceptions about attitude towards the teaching professionaccording to the class variable. The perceptions about the attitude towards the teaching profession did not differ significantly according tothe variables of gender, place of education and economic situation. In order to ensure a positive attitude towards the teaching profession,an effective guidance will be helpful in enabling those to choose the teaching profession more consciously.
