Chemotherapy agents </span> <span class="hps">are also included in these factors. Chemotherapy induced taste alteration is a condition </span> <span class="hps">commonly </span> <span class="hps">experienced </span> by the <span class="hps">patients. The taste alterations arise <a name="_GoBack"> </a> depending on chemotherapy due to the   neurotoxic effects of chemotherapy agents and their effects on taste buds, which are responsible for the </span> <span class="hps">sense of taste, and the saliva. Taste alterations vary depending on the chemotherapy </span> <span class="hps">type received by patients and other variables. Taste alterations experienced by patients affect them in many ways and reduce the quality of their lives.
