AN ACUTE NECROTISING GASTRITIS CASE IN A PATIENT WITH PEPTIC ULCER DISEASE |

Because acute necrotizing gastritis a rare and fetal clinical entity we aim to present a case of acute necrotising gastritis treated in our clinic. A 32 year old male patient was admitted to our clinic with abdominal pain, severe nausea and vomiting. The stomach findings resembled diffuse mucosal necrosis and hemorrhage with no living tissue remaining. Pathological examination of gastrectomy sample resembled acute necrotising gastritis findings. Subtotal gastrectomy was performed and this case was revealed under the lights of available literature.
