Türkiye ekonomisinde, siyasi istikrarın güçlü olması sayesinde önemli reformlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. 2002’den sonraki ekonomik performans, birçok kez içerden ve dışardan kaynaklı müdahalelerle baskı altına alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Tüm müdahalelere rağmen; ekonomik reformlar ve güçlü siyasi istikrar ekonomik büyümenin devamlılığını sağlamıştır. Birçok girişimin başarısız olmasından sonra tüm siyasi, ekonomik ve sosyal araçlarını kullanmalarına rağmen, Türkiye siyasetini ve dolaylı olarak ekonomisini dizayn edemeyenler, son olarak 15 Temmuz darbe girişiminde bulunmuşlardır. Türkiye ekonomisinde makroekonomik göstergelerin en iyi olduğu dönem olan 2013 yılından sonra, sistematik bir şekilde devam eden bu girişimlerin son halkası olan 15 Temmuz darbe girişimi, Türkiye ekonomisini kriz ortamına sürüklemeyi amaçlamış, ancak yine başarısız olmuştur. Yoğun ve kasıtlı bir çabayla, ülke ekonomisinde kriz ortamı oluşturularak siyasi istikrarın gücü azaltılmaya çalışılmaktadır. In the Turkish economy, significant reforms have been achieved thanks to the strong political stability.
