                            <p>We examined the effectiveness of the Self-Regulated Strategy Development model in improving the story-writing skills of gifted students attending the third and fourth grade using a multiple probe design with conditions across participants. The study participants were three students attending Science and Art Centers. The adequacy of the elements in the stories written by the participants was evaluated using the Scale for Evaluating Story Elements, the quality of the stories using the 6+1 Analytic Scoring Guide, the number of words in the stories using the Word document word count processor, and the writing time using a stopwatch. An increase was evident in the number of elements, quality, number of words, and writing time of the stories written by the participants. The participants maintained target skills two and five weeks after the intervention and generalized them across memoir-writing skill. The participants and their families had positive opinions about the intervention.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Bu araştırmanın amacı ilkokul üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıfa devam eden özel yetenekli tanısı almış öğrencilerin öykü yazma becerilerinin geliştirilmesinde Öz-Düzenleyici Strateji Gelişimi modelinin (ÖDSG) etkililiğini incelemektir. Araştırmada tek denekli araştırma modellerinden yoklama evreli katılımcılar arası çoklu yoklama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını Bilim ve Sanat Merkezine (BİLSEM) devam eden üç öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırma sürecinde; katılımcıların yazdıkları öykülerdeki elementlerin yeterliliği Öykü Elementleri Değerlendirme Ölçeği, öykülerin kalitesi 6+1 Analitik Yazma ve Değerlendirme Ölçeği, yazılan öykülerdeki kelime sayısı Word belgesi kelime sayım işlemcisi, yazma süreleri ise kronometre kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma öncesi ve sonrasında katılımcılar ve ailelerinden öznel değerlendirme yaklaşımıyla sosyal geçerlik verisi toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonrasında katılımcıların yazdıkları öykülerin element sayılarında, kalitesinde, kelime sayısı ile yazma sürelerinde artış olduğu belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların elde ettikleri becerileri uygulama sona erdikten iki ve beş hafta sonra korudukları ve anı yazma becerisine genelledikleri görülmüştür. Araştırma sonunda katılımcılar ve velilerinden uygulamaya yönelik olumlu görüş alınmıştır.</p></abstract>
