                            <p>In our world, from 1900s to the present day, many kind of texts have been used in language teaching. These texts are grouped under the headings such as literary, produced, original and private texts&quot;. The choosing of the texts changes depending on the language teaching approaches and methods. Each approach has used its own text.The literary texts have been used in traditional approach due to focus on teaching of issues such as grammar rules, proverbs, literature and general culture. In behavioral approach, the language has been considered as a behavior and has been teached via repetation, imitation, memorizing. The produced texts have been used in this approach instead of literary texts. In cognitive approach, the view of “language is a communication tool” has spreaded and the original texts have been started to use in this approach. Nowadays, the understanding of “ language is a social interaction tool” has been come up via constructivist learning approach. The original and private texts have been started to use in this approach. Thus, the literary, produced, original and private texts have been used in language teaching, respectively.These developments in our world have been also seen inTurkish teaching. In the past, the literary texts were used in Turkish teaching, however, the original and private texts have been used in a new Turkish Teaching Programme and this new Turkish Teaching Programme includes text structures such as narrative, informative and poetry.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Dünyamızda 1900’lü yıllardan günümüze kadar dil öğretiminde çeşitli metinler kullanılmıştır. Bunlar “ edebi metinler, üretilmiş metinler, özgün ve özel metinler ” başlıkları altında toplanmıştır. Metinlerin seçimi dil öğretim yaklaşım ve yöntemlerine göre değişmektedir. Her yaklaşım kendine özgü metin kullanmıştır. Geleneksel yaklaşımda dil bilgisi kuralları, atasözleri, edebiyat, genel kültür gibi konuların öğretimine ağırlık verildiğinden edebi metinler kullanılmıştır. Davranışçı yaklaşımda dil davranış olarak ele alınmış, tekrar, taklit ve ezberleme yoluyla öğretilmiştir. Bu yaklaşımda edebi metinler yerine üretilmiş metinler kullanılmıştır. Bilişsel yaklaşımda “dil iletişim aracıdır” görüşü yayılmış ve özgün metinler kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Günümüzde ise yapılandırıcı yaklaşımdan hareketle “Dil, sosyal etkileşim aracıdır.” anlayışı gündeme gelmiştir. Bu yaklaşımda özgün ve özel metinler kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Böylece dil öğretiminde edebi metinlerden üretilmiş metinlere ardından da özgün ve özel metinlere geçilmiştir. Dünyamızdaki bu gelişmeler Türkçe öğretiminde de görülmektedir. Eskiden edebi metinlerle Türkçe öğretimi yapılırken yeni Türkçe öğretim programlarda özgün ve özel metinlerden yaralanılmakta, öyküleyici, bilgilendirici ve şiire yer verilmektedir.</p></abstract>
