<p>This study aims to examine the relationship between artificial intelligence literacy and 21st century teaching skills of preservice Turkish language teachers. A quantitative research method was employed in the study and a relational survey model was used to examine the relationship between the variables. In this study, data were collected using the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Scale and the 21st Century Teaching Skills Scale. In the data collection process structured in accordance with the quantitative research design, the scale questions were prepared using Google Forms and each scale was administered to participants in the west part of Türkiye during a separate class hour. The quantitative data of the study were evaluated using SPSS 22.0 statistical analysis software. In line with the findings, it was determined that the levels of pre-service teachers regarding both variables were generally high; there were statistically significant and positive relationships between artificial intelligence literacy and 21st century teaching skills. In particular, low-level but significant correlations were found between techno-pedagogical, flexible teaching and generative skills and artificial intelligence literacy; it was determined that the technical understanding sub-dimension was a significant predictor of 21st century teaching skills. In addition, it was observed that demographic variables such as gender and grade level created significant differences in some sub-dimensions. The results revealed that artificial intelligence literacy should be integrated into teacher competencies; thus, it is suggested that teacher education programs to be enriched with more interdisciplinary and practice-oriented content.</p></trans-abstract>
