                                                                                                <abstract><p>Buaraştırmanın amacı ilkokul öğrencilerinin yazılı anlatımlarında tercih ettikleri metin türü ve yazmakonularını/içeriklerini incelemek ve bu tercihlerinin altında yatan sebepleriortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olanbetimleyici fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunuilkokul 2. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan 20 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Buçalışmada veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme soruları ile toplanmış veverilerin analizinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre,öğrencilerin daha çok ikna edici bilgilendirici metin yazmayı tercih ettiklerigörülmüştür. Öğrencilerin hiçbiri gerçek yaşamdan öyküleyici metin ve şiiryazma türlerini tercihleri içerisinde ifade etmemiştir. Öğrencilerin yazmakonusu olarak daha çok sosyal aktivite, aile, zararlı alışkanlıklardan korunma,arkadaş, gezi, hayvanlar, oyuncak ve öğretmen ile ilgili metinler yazmayıtercih ettiklerini ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Öğrenciler yazının içeriğiniise genel olarak komik olayların ve macera olaylarının şekillendirdiğini ifadeetmiştir.</p></abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
                            <p>Thepurpose of this research was to examine the types of texts and topics/contentthat primary school students prefer in their written works and to reveal theunderlying causes for those preferences. Descriptivephenomenology which is one of the qualitative research methods was used in thestudy. The study group consisted of 20 second-grade students. The data werecollected, using semi-structured interview questions and the content analysismethod was used for data analysis. According to the results of the study, the studentspreferred to write persuasive andexpository texts more. None of the students expressed narrative texts or poetryas their preferences. It was observed that students preferred to write textsabout social activities, family, bad habits, friends, trips, animals, toys andteachers. Students also stated that in general funny events and adventuresformed the essence of their writings.</p></trans-abstract>
