Evaluating the variations related to the mandibular canal before oral surgical procedures in the mandible is essential in preventing complications that may occur during and after surgery. Although the bifid mandibular canal is the most frequently reported anatomical variation in the mandible, the level of knowledge regarding its identification and prevalence is estimated to be low. This technical note aims to provide information about the appearance of bifid mandibular canal variations, which are common but lesser known.
