Ayşe Sarısayın’ın Karakalem Resimler adlı hikâye kitabı 2008 yılında yayımlanır. Sarısayın, diğer eserlerinde olduğu gibi bu hikâyelerinde de kadını, kadının dünyasını merkeze alır. Bu hikâyelerde kadınlar, daha çok iç dünyalarıyla metin içerisinde yer alırlar. Geçmiş ve hatıralar onların duygu dünyasının vazgeçilmez parçasıdır. Hikâyelerde temel sorun anıların etkisinden kurtulamayan karakterlerin geçmişle hesaplaşması ve kendisiyle yüzleşme sürecinde yaşadığı içsel çatışmalardır. Yakınlarını kaybetme, yalnızlık, iletişimsizlik, yabancılaşma, sessizlik, içsel boşluk onların kişiliğine hakim olan başlıca durumlardır. Diğer hikâye kitaplarında olduğu gibi, yazar bu metinlerinde de kendi geçmişinde gözlemlediği olay ve durumlardan hareket eder. Eserde sembolik anlatımın yoğunluğu, modern Türk hikâyeciliğinde kendini farklı kılan bir özelliktir. Yine metnin başına yerleştirdiği epigraflar, eserin içerik ve bütününe dair çıkarıma hizmet eden anlatımdaki farklılıklardan biridir. Bu çalışmada yazarın Karakalem Resimler adlı eserindeki hikâyeler tematik bağlamda incelenerek yazarın hikâyeciliğine ayna tutulacaktır.
Ayşe Sarısayın’s story collection titled KaraKalem Resimler was published in 2008. As in her other works, Sarısayın focuses on women and their world in these stories. In these stories, women are represented more through their inner worlds. The past and memories are an indispensable part of their emotional world. The fundamental issue in the stories is the internal conflicts experienced by characters who cannot escape the influence of their memories as they come to terms with the past and confront themselves. Loss of loved ones, loneliness, lack of communication, alienation, silence, and inner emptiness are the main circumstances that dominate their personalities. As in her other story collections, the author draws on events and situations she has observed in her own past in these texts. The intensity of symbolic narration in the work is a feature that distinguishes it in modern Turkish short story writing. The epigraphs placed at the beginning of the text are another difference in the narration that serves to draw conclusions about the content and whole of the work. In this study, the stories in the author’s work Karakalem Resimler will be examined in a thematic context, holding up a mirror to the author's short story writing.
