Graduate studies an academic prestige for a field. Perhaps of special interest to the scholarly community, is the growing interest of studying tourism at the doctoral level, as indicated by the small but growing number of doctoral dissertations focusing on tourism. This is certainly a promising development which requires attention. Research subjects of dissertation between universities are important knowledge fields about forms of knowledge networks structures in a scientific community and flow of knowledge traffic. The study provides an analysis of all tourism dissertations submitted and accepted for higher degrees by all participating Australian universities, institutes, and colleges in 1991-2010. The aims of this study revealed to tourism dissertation knowledge network structure and subjects of dissertation in periodical manner. The data was collected from National Dissertation Database of YOK between years of 1991-2010. Social Network Analysis is used to define network structure and to examine links between structures.
