Androgenetik Alopesi Şiddeti ve Vücut Kitle İndeksi Arasındaki İlişkinin Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

AMAÇ:  Bu
çalışmanın amacı, androgenetik alopesi (AGA) şiddeti ile vücut kitle indeksi (VKİ)
arasında bir ilişki bulunup bulunmadığını değerlendirmektir.



GEREÇ VE
YÖNTEMLER:
Bu çalışmaya Sağlık Bilimleri
Üniversitesi Ankara Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Dermatoloji Kliniği’ne AGA
tanısı ile başvuran toplam 132 hasta dahil edildi. Çalışmaya alınan AGA’lı
erkek hastalar Hamilton-Norwood Sınıflaması’ndaki (HNS) alopesi şiddetine göre
3 gruba ayrıldı: grup 1 ( HNS Tip 1 ve 2), grup 2 (HNS Tip 3-4-5) ve grup 3
(HNS Tip 6-7). Hasta yaşı ve VKİ değerleri gruplar arasında karşılaştırıldı.
Hastalardan çalışma için onam alındı.



BULGULAR: Hastaların yaş ortalaması 45.62±16.09 olarak
bulundu. Ortalama VKİ değeri ise 24.62±1.74 olarak bulundu. Grup 1,2 ve 3’te
sırasıyla 40, 46 ve 46 hasta bulunmaktaydı. Grup 1, 2 ve 3’teki ortanca VKİ
değerleri sırasıyla, 24.30, 24.70 ve 24.25 olarak bulundu. Grup 1, 2 ve 3’teki
ortanca yaş değerleri sırasıyla,  27.5,
45 ve 64.5 olarak bulundu. Androgenetik alopesi şiddeti ile VKİ arasında
istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki bulunamadı (p=0.70).



SONUÇ: Bu çalışmada AGA şiddeti ile VKİ arasında bir
ilişki olmadığı görülmüştür.
