Kaptoprile bağlı gelişen akut pankreatit: Olgu sunumu

Öz

45 yaşında kadın hasta sırta vuran şiddetli karın ağrısı ile başvurdu ve akut pankreatit tanısıyla interne edildi. Hikayesinde yeni başlayan hipertansiyon nedeniyle iki gün önce bir defa 50 mg kaptopril aldığı ve alkol kullanmadığı öğrenildi. Abdominal ultrasonografide safra kesesi ve safra yollarında patoloji izlenmedi. Serum trigliserid ve IG G4 düzeyleri de normal olan hastada kaptoprile bağlı akut pankreatit düşünüldü. Kaptopril kesilip başka bir grup anti-hipertansif başlanan hasta akut pankreatit tedavisi sonrası taburcu edildi. Kaptoprilin öksürük, anjiyoödem ve böbrek yetmezliği gibi bilinen yan etkilerinin dışında akut pankreatit de yapabileceği akılda tutulmalıdır.

Captopril induced acute pancreatitis: a case report

Öz

A 45-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal back pain and she was internalized with the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis. Her history revealed that she had taken captopril 50 mg once two days ago due to the new onset of hypertension. She had never used alcohol before. Abdominal ultrasonography revealed no pathology in gall bladder and bile ducts. Serum triglyceride and IG G4 levels were also normal. With these results captopril induced acute pancreatitis was considered. Captopril was discontinued and another group of anti-hypertensive drug was started. The patient was discharged after treatment of acute pancreatitis. It should be kept in mind that captopril can also cause acute pancreatitis in addition to known side effects such as cough, angioedema and renal failure.
