Carcinoid tumors arising from the enterochromaffin cells of the gastrointestinal system are seen rarely. Definitive diagnosis of these tumors by clinical examination and imaging methods is difficult. They can especially interfere with other gastrointestinal tumors and inflammatory bowel disease. According to the clinical signs, and CT and enteroclysis imagings, we started treatment in a patient considered as Crohn's disease. But the patient was operated because of ileus. The material removed from the patient at operation was diagnosed as carcinoid tumor by pathological evaluation. We found the case worthwhile to present from the point that it is demonstrative.
