Argentum Journal of Engineering

Argentum Journal of Engineering (AGJE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Gümüşhane University. The journal aims to publish high-quality original research that contributes significantly to the advancement of engineering and applied sciences.

AGJE provides a scientific platform for the dissemination of innovative theoretical and applied studies. It promotes interdisciplinary research and supports studies addressing contemporary engineering challenges.

The journal strictly adheres to scientific publishing standards, ethical principles, and international best practices in line with the Gümüşhane University Scientific Journals Publication Directive. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.

The journal is published twice a year (June and December) and accepts manuscripts written in English. Only original research articles are considered for publication.

Authors are required to download the latest templates from the "📝 AGJE-Template.docx " page, located under the "Explore" section in the right-hand menu, and prepare their manuscripts accordingly. During the submission process, all requirements specified in the "Manuscript Submission Checklist" must be fully satisfied. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's formatting and submission guidelines will be returned to the authors or rejected without further consideration.

The similarity index (Turnitin) of submitted manuscripts, including those derived from the author's own theses and/or project reports, must not exceed 20% in total and 4% from any single source. Since similarity checks are conducted by the journal, authors are kindly requested not to upload similarity reports during the submission process, as any reports provided by authors will not be taken into consideration.

Manuscripts that fail to meet the journal's similarity criteria will be rejected. If a manuscript fails to satisfy these criteria on two consecutive occasions, it will not be considered for evaluation upon resubmission. The journal reserves the right to impose restrictions on future submissions from author(s) who violate ethical principles or the journal's publication policies.

Furthermore, manuscripts submitted without a completed Manuscript Submission and 📄 Copyright Transfer Form.pdf , or with an incomplete form, as well as manuscripts exceeding the permitted similarity thresholds, will not be considered for peer review.

Notice Regarding the TR Dizin Update on Ethical Guidelines

In accordance with the decision of ULAKBİM dated 25 February 2020, ethical committee approval must be obtained separately for all clinical and experimental studies involving humans and animals across all scientific disciplines. The approval information must be clearly stated in the manuscript and supported with appropriate documentation.

Authors are kindly requested to pay careful attention to this requirement. Manuscripts that do not comply with these ethical approval regulations will not be accepted for evaluation or publication.
