ATEŞLİ ÇOCUKLAR İÇİN SALUTOJENİK BAKIM MODELİ: ATEŞLİ ÇOCUKLAR İÇİN BAKIM NEDEN ÖNEMLİDİR?

Öz

Vücut ısısının yükselmesiyle karakterize edilen ateş, çocukluk döneminde sık görülen bir durumdur ve genellikle aileler ve bakım verenler arasında endişeye yol açar. Yaygınlığına rağmen, ateş yönetimi konusunda belirsizlikler devam etmektedir. Standartlaştırılmış ve etkili bir ateş yönetimi yaklaşımı, çocuk sağlığının en iyi şekilde korunması ve ebeveynlerin aşırı endişelerinin azaltılması için çok önemlidir. Bulgular, ateş yönetimi stratejilerinin klinik ortamlara göre önemli ölçüde farklılık gösterdiğini, ateş düşürücü kullanımında, sıcaklık ölçüm yöntemlerinde ve farmakolojik olmayan müdahalelerde tutarsızlıklar olduğunu göstermektedir. Hastalık tedavisi yerine sağlık teşvikine odaklanan salutojenik bakım modeli, ateş bakımına rehberlik etmek, ebeveynlerin güvenini artırmak ve gereksiz tıbbi müdahaleleri azaltmak için değerli bir çerçeve olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Sağlık profesyonelleri, standartlaştırılmış değerlendirme yöntemleri ve aileler için eğitim programlarını entegre eden, kanıta dayalı ateş yönetimi stratejileri benimsemelidir. Salutojenik bakım modeli, dayanıklılık, bilinçli karar verme ve uygun tedavi stratejilerini vurgulayan, ateş bakımına bütüncül bir yaklaşım sunar. Gelecekteki araştırmalar, yapılandırılmış bakım modellerinin pediatrik ateş sonuçları üzerindeki uzun vadeli etkisini araştırmalıdır.

SALUTOGENIC CARE MODEL FOR CHILDREN WITH FEBRILE: WHY IS CARE IMPORTANT FOR CHILDREN WITH FEVER?

Öz

Fever, characterized by an elevation in body temperature, is a common occurrence in childhood and often leads to anxiety among families and caregivers. Despite its prevalence, uncertainties remain regarding fever management. A standardized and effective fever management approach is crucial to ensuring optimal child health and reducing unnecessary parental distress. Findings indicate that fever management strategies vary significantly across clinical settings, with inconsistencies in antipyretic use, temperature measurement methods, and non-pharmacological interventions. The salutogenic care model, focusing on health promotion rather than disease treatment, has emerged as a valuable framework for guiding fever care, enhancing parental confidence, and reducing unnecessary medical interventions. Healthcare professionals should adopt evidence based fever management strategies, integrating standardized assessment methods and education programs for families. The salutogenic care model offers a holistic approach to fever care, emphasizing resilience, informed decision-making, and appropriate treatment strategies. Future research should explore the long-term impact of structured care models on pediatric fever outcomes.
