Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Borderline Kişilik Özellikleri ve Kıskançlık

Öz

Borderline kişilik bozukluğu, kişiliğin işleyişindeki bir bozukluktur. Duygusal, davranışsal, bilişsel alanlarda ve özellikle kişilerarası ilişkilerde zorluk yaşadığı bilinen borderline kişilerin sağlıklı olanlara göre daha yüksek düzeyde kıskançlığa sahip olabileceği belirtilmektedir. Bu çalışma, sağlıklı bireylerde borderline kişilik özellikleri ile kıskançlık özellikleri arasındaki ilişkinin varlığını ve yönünü araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, borderline kişilik bozukluğu ile kıskançlık arasında bir ilişki vardır. Bu ilişkide duygusal kıskançlık boyutunun ön plana çıktığı görülmüştür. Çocukluk dönemindeki travmalar yaşamın ilerleyen dönemlerinde psikopatolojilere neden olabileceğinden, çocukluk dönemindeki travmaları önlemeye yönelik çalışmalar önemlidir. Bu nedenle ailelerin bu konuda bilinçlendirilmesi ve toplumsal farkındalığın artırılması önemlidir.

Borderline Personality Disorder Features and Jealiousy Traits In University Students

Öz

Borderline personality disorder is a disorder in the functioning of the personality. It is stated that borderline people who are known to have difficulties in emotional, behavioral, cognitive areas and especially in interpersonal relationships may have higher levels of jealousy compared to healthy others. This study was conducted to investigate the existence and direction of the relationship between borderline personality traits and jealousy traits in healthy individuals. According to the findings of the study, there is a relationship between borderline personality disorder and jealousy. In this relationship, it was observed that the dimension of emotional jealousy came to the forefront. Since traumas in childhood may cause psychopathologies in later life, studies aiming to prevent traumas in childhood are important. For this reason, it is important to raise the awareness of the families on this issue and to raise social awareness.
