                                                                                                <abstract><p>Son yıllarda teknoloji alanında yaşanan hızlı gelişmeler, birçok alanda olduğu gibi çocuklara yönelik görsel medya içeriklerinde de önemli gelişmelerin yaşanmasını sağlamıştır. Dijital teknolojilerin ilerlemesiyle birlikte, özellikle çizgi film türü yapımların üretimi ve yaygınlaşması hız kazanmıştır. Canlı olmayan ya da hareketsiz nesnelere hareket ve hayat kazandırma süreci olan animasyon, çocukların eğitim ve eğlence ihtiyaçlarına yönelik tasarlanarak, görsel medyanın vazgeçilmez bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Çizgi filmler, çocukların duygu dünyalarını, düşünce biçimlerini ve sosyal becerilerini şekillendirmede giderek daha etkili araçlar olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Bu araştırma, 2023 yılında izleyicisiyle buluşan yerli yapım çizgi film “Aslan Parçası Cesur”un, değerler eğitimi açısından hangi olumlu ve olumsuz iletileri taşıdığını belirlemeyi ve bu yapımı değerler eğitimi bağlamında incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın, çocukların değer gelişiminde çizgi filmlerin kullanılabilirliği hakkında fikir vermesi beklenmektedir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesiyle elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Değerler eğitimi kapsamında çizgi filmdeki olumlu ve olumsuz iletiler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda, olumlu değerlerin yapımda hâkim olduğu söylenebilir; ancak olumsuz iletilerin de dikkate değer bir oranda yer aldığı belirlenmiştir. İzleyici kitlesi ağırlıklı olarak çocuklardan oluşan bu tür çizgi filmlerin değer aktarımında son derece etkili olduğu düşünüldüğünde, içerik üretiminde daha özenli davranılması gerektiği açıkça ortaya çıkmaktadır.</p></abstract>

                            <p>Rapid developments in technology in recent years have led to significant advances in visual media content for children, as in many other areas. With the advancement of digital technologies, the production and proliferation of animated films in particular has gained momentum. Animation, the process of bringing movement and life to inanimate or stationary objects, has become an indispensable part of visual media, designed to meet children&#039;s educational and entertainment needs. Animated films are increasingly emerging as effective tools in shaping children&#039;s emotional worlds, thought patterns, and social skills. This research aims to determine the positive and negative messages conveyed by the locally produced cartoon “Aslan Parçası Cesur” (Brave Lion), which was released in 2023, in terms of values education, and to examine this production in the context of values education. The study is expected to provide insights into the usability of animated films in children&#039;s value development. The data obtained through document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was evaluated using content analysis. Positive and negative messages in the animated film were identified within the scope of values education. Based on the findings, it can be said that positive values dominate the production; however, it was determined that negative messages also occupy a significant proportion. Considering that such cartoons, whose audience is predominantly children, are highly effective in value transmission, it is clear that greater care must be exercised in content production.</p></trans-abstract>
