<p>Two high quality artifacts under protection in Muğla and Milas museums constitute the subject of this article. Among these artifacts, the sculpture fragment registered in the inventory of the Muğla Museum was delivered to the museum by members of the police force and entered into the museum records as a study piece without knowing the place of discovery. When we look at our piece from the front, the first thing that catches the eye is that both hands are joined and depicted below the navel. The fragment, which is an iconographically unique find and stylistically dated to the early 1st century BC, depicts Attis of Phrygia, the servant of the Mother Goddess Cybele. The second work of high quality that we evaluated includes the iconography of Cybele seated on her throne, which was taken to the Milas Museum for preservation from the garden of Milas Sakarya Primary School in 1994 and is now exhibited in the garden. Stylistically dated to the mid to late 2nd century BC (130-120 BC) and accompanied by male lions on both sides, the Cybele sculpture is above normal human measurements compared to Attis of Phrygia. The lions on the move, depicted with their mantles and harnesses, offer important details that have not been seen in the literature to date and will shed much light on scientific studies. Both works, which are considered as iconographically unique finds and presented to the scientific world for the first time, have been evaluated through comparative examples in addition to technique, typology-iconography, style and dating, and have been examined in detail, including their possible origins.</p></trans-abstract>

Parçamıza önden baktığımızda göze çarpan ilk husus her iki elin birleştirilerek göbek altında betimlenmiş olmasıdır.
