Cumhurbaşkanlığı himayelerinde ve Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Mesleki ve Teknik Eğitim Genel Müdürlüğü koordinasyonunda düzenlenen Türkiye Yüzyılı Mesleki ve Teknik Eğitim Zirvesi, 1–3 Aralık 2025 tarihleri arasında İstanbul’da gerçekleştirilmiştir. Zirve, mesleki ve teknik eğitim sisteminin mevcut yapısını değerlendirmek ve iş gücü piyasasının değişen ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda eğitim politikalarına katkı sağlamak amacıyla kamu kurumları, akademisyenler, sektör temsilcileri ve eğitim yöneticilerini bir araya getirmiştir. Çalıştay temelli bir organizasyon modeli ile gerçekleştirilen etkinlikte farklı meslek alanlarını temsil eden çalışma masalarında paydaş görüşleri tartışılmış ve politika önerileri geliştirilmiştir. Bu etkinlik notu, zirvede yürütülen tartışmaları özetlemekte ve özellikle turizm ve gastronomi mesleki eğitimi açısından ortaya çıkan temel eğilimleri analitik bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirmektedir.
The Century of Türkiye Vocational and Technical Education Summit was held in Istanbul between December 1–3, 2025 under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and coordinated by the Ministry of National Education. The summit brought together policymakers, academics, industry representatives and education administrators to evaluate the current structure of vocational education and develop policy recommendations aligned with changing labor market demands. Organized through a workshop-based structure, the summit included thematic working groups representing different vocational fields. This event note summarizes the key discussions of the summit and provides analytical reflections on its implications for tourism and gastronomy education.
