Sinuselevation is the technique most commonly used in the rehabilitation of theposterior maxillary region. Sinus elevation is considered an effectiveand predictable treatment protocol, but it is an open surgical approach tocomplications. These complications can occur during surgery orafter surgery as well as in conjunction with each other. The aim of this review is to determinethe anatomic limitations of the region with appropriate imaging modalities forthe identification of predictable pathologies in this region.Key words: Anatomy, maxillary sinus, radiology, diagnosis</p>
