ÖZETBu araştırmada, Eğitim Fakültesi, Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü'ndeöğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin psikolojik belirtileri incelenmiştir.Araştırmanın evreni, Atatürk Üniversitesi, Kazım Karabekir Eğitim Fakültesi GüzelSanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü'nde 2003-2004 öğretim yılında öğrenim gören üniversiteöğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma örnek/emi, bu evrenden seçkisiz (random)olarak belirlenen toplam 189 kişiden meydana gelmiştir. Araştırmada, bireylerinpsikolojik belirtileri ile ilgili veriler Derogatis (1992) tarafından geliştirilen veŞahin ve Durak (1994) tarafından uyarlanma çalışmaları yapılan Kısa SemptomEnvanteri ile toplanmıştır. Cinsiyetlerine göre, bireylerin somatizasyon, anksiyetebozukluğu ve rahatsızlık ciddiyeti global indeksi puanları arasında kızların lehineanlamlı farklılaşma bulunurken, diğer psikolojik belirti puanlarına göre anlamlıfarklılaşma bulunamamıştır. Bireylerin öğrenim gördükleri alanlarına ve sınıfdüzeylerine göre, bütün psikolojik belirti puanlarında anlamlı farklılaşmabulunamamıştır.Anahtar sözcükler: Güzel sanatlar eğitimi, psikolojik belirtilerABSTRACTİn this research, the psychological symptoms and some special featuresof the students of the Department of Fine Arts Education, Faculty of Education werestudied.The research covers the students of Kazım Karabekir Education Faculty,Atatürk University of the academic year 2003-2004.The sample of the researchincludes 189 persons based on a random selection. The data of this research werecollected with Brief Symptom Inventory developed by Derogatis (1992) and adaptedby Şahin ve Durak (1994). Besides, Personel Information Form prepared by theresearcher himself was benefited from in order to obtain information releated toseveral variables. For the analysis of the data obtained t test and Variance Analysis(One Way Anova).As the resul of the research, these findings were found: Based ofdifference of gender, as for the scores for the somatization, anxiety disorder andseriousness of psychological disease global index a meaningful difference wasfound in favour of the girls while meaningful difference could not be found asregards the scores for other psychological symptoms. With respect to their mayorsand grades no meaninful difference could be found in the scores for any psychological symptoms.Key words: Fine arts education, psychological symptoms.
