Günümüzde metin ve metin türleri iletişim faaliyetleri bakımından önemioldukça büyük olan bir işleve sahiptirler. Metinsel iletişim olgusu,genelde metin türlerinde olmak üzere, özelde ise yazınsal metinler üzerindenyürütülen en dinamik iletişim etkinliğidir. Bunda okurun alımlama gücü,donanımı, yaşadığı dönem ve metnin kurulum yapısı, yazarın amacı, döneminöncelikleri gibi iç ve dış bileşenlerin rolü büyüktür. Yazınsal metinler, iletişimfaaliyeti bakımından ayrı bir yere sahiptirler. Bunu sağlayan etmen ise, sanatlıbağdaştırmaların metin diline kattıkları özel anlamlar ve bunların çağrışımhalkalarıdır. Bu düzeyde metinsel iletişim farklı bir okuma, anlama vedeğerlendirme süreçlerini bir arada etkinleştiren dinamik bir faaliyetlerbütünüdür denebilir. Bu çalışma, genelde metnin özelde yazınsal metnin okur ilesürdürülen iletişim sürecinde iletişime dayalı değişkenlerin etkisiniirdelemektedir.Nowadays, text and text types have a quite important function in terms ofcommunication activities.
