Prof. Gungor received his Ph. D in mechanical engineering (Istanbul Technical University) in 2006. He is presently professor of mechanical engineering at Akdeniz University, Antalya TURKEY. Prof Gungor has edited 15 books, and has published more than 260 proceedings, and has published more than 120 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, in addition to more than 30 book chapters. In the last 2 years Prof. Gungor has applied to patent for 3 innovative projects. Prof Gungor was the founder Dean of Bucak Technology Faculty, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Burdur, TURKEY, his research interests include New and Renewable Energy Sources, Nanotechnology, Energy Conversion and Management, Simulation and Modeling of Energy Systems, Combustion and Gasification of Coal and Biomass in Fluidised Beds, Hydrogen Production and Purification in Gasification of Coal and Biomass, Solar Thermal Applications.
Dilek KOC SAN received her bachelor’s degree from Gazi University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of City and Regional Planning in 2000. In 2009, she received her Doctorate degree from Middle East Technical University, Department of Geodetic and Geographic Information technologies. During her doctorate education, she conducted research for 6 months in 2006 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Department of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. She worked as a Research Assistant at the Middle East Technical University, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Geodesy and Geographical Information Technologies between 2002-2009 and as a Research Assistant Dr. at Selcuk University, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of City and Regional Planning between 2009-2011. In 2011, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Science, Department of Space Sciences and Technologies. In 2014, she received the title of Associate Professor in the field of City and Regional Planning. Since 2017, she has been working as a faculty member at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of City and Regional Planning, Department of Planning Technologies. She was received Professor title in 2020.
Dr.Irfan Turhan received his Ph.D. degree in Food Engineering. His teaching and research focus on Bioprocess Engineering; focus on fermentation of fruit and vegetables or its waste, fermentor design, enzyme technology, bioprocess separations: rational scaleup of analytical separation methods; conversion of batch processes to continuous processes; integrated fermentation/recovery systems; novel techniques fermentation of food.
