Eccrine Porocarcinoma on an Unusual Location

Abstract

Eccrine porocarcinoma is a rare malignant adnexal tumor that develops from the intraepidermal ductal part of eccrine sweat glands. It is commonly seen in the lower extremity and rarely in the scalp, face, ear, body and upper extremity. The surgical treatment of eccrine porocarcinoma is controversial as this is a rare tumor. In this case report, a 38-year-old patient of eccrine porocarcinoma on atypical localization of the scalp is presented.

Atipik Bir Lokalizasyonda Ekrin Porokarsinom

Abstract

Ekrin porokarsinom, ekrin ter bezlerinin intraepidermal duktal kısmından gelişen nadir görülen malign adneksiyel tümörüdür. Sıklıkla alt ekstremitelerde ve nadiren saçlı deri, yüz, kulak, gövde ve üst ekstremitede görülür. Benign bir lezyon olan ekrin poromadan geliştiği düşünülmektedir. Olguların sıklığının az olması nedeniyle cerrahi tedavi protokolü kesin olarak belirlenmemiştir. Bu olgu sunumunda saçlı deride atipik olarak pariteal bölge yerleşimli bir ekrin porokarsinom olgusu sunulmaktadır.
