ACRODERMATITIS ENTEROPATICA
Abstract
Acrodermatitis enteropathica is a rare autosomal recessive condition of zinc deficiency characterised by chronic diarrhoea associated with failure to thrive, periorifical dermatitis, alopecia, susceptibilty to infections and behavioural changes. We reported two patients with acrodermatitis and discussed recent development about the condition.
