Abstract
Bu çalışmada, anestezi ve cerrahi onkolojideki öneminden dolayı, fissura pterygomaxillaris (sphenomaxillaris)’in boyutları ve sekil varyasyonlari verilmiştir. Çalışmada, 41 adet insan kafatasında 82 adet fissura pterygomaxillaris incelenmiş ve sonuçta 7 tip fissur belirlen- mistir. Bu tipler arasindaki korelasyonlar istatistiki olarak da araştırılmıştır.

Abstract
In the this research, we have investigated the length, the width and shape variations of the pterygomaxillary (sphenomaxillary) fissure, because of its importance in anesthesi and surgical oncology. We studied 82 fissura pterygomaxillaris on 41 human dry skulls and found 7-type fissur. We researched the correlations between these types as statistically, also.
