Abstract
Thrombosis of the sinuses and/or cerebral veins is an uncommon form of stroke affecting young patients, accounting for 0.5-1% of all strokes. Numerous etiologies have been identified. The aim of our study was to retrospectively review patients who were followed up in our clinic due to sinus vein thrombosis and to discuss the underlying etiologies, age and gender distribution, and clinical and imaging findings.
