A 15th Century Turkısh Scholar And Doctor: Şerefeddin Sabuncuoğlu
Abstract
The Turks, who came to Anatolia at the end of the 10th century and began to settle, established the first health facilities known as the Artukoğlu Emineddin Bimarhanesi in Mardin in 1198. In contrast, they did not produce medical works in their mother tongue until the 13th century. it was delayed until the end of the century. According to our current information©, the first Turkish type work written in Anatolia is Tuhfe-ı Mubarizi (Translation of Lubabü'n-Nuhab), which was written on behalf of Aydınoğlu Mehmed Bey (1330 -1340) in 1335. Among the physicians who grew up between this date and the end of the Fatih Era (45) -1481), Ismail bin Murad (44. End of the century), Haci Pasa (1324 - 1494 7), Ahmedi (1334 - 1413), Ahmedi Dai (15th century), Mumin bin Mukbil (15th century), century) and Akşemseddin (1390 - 1459). The most important Turkish works written are Isaac bin Murad's Edviye-i Curriculum (1390); Ahmadi's verse Tarvihu -Ervah (1403 - 1408) consisting of 19,010 couplets, Haci Pasha's Teshilu'g-Shifa (1403) and Muntehabu's-Shifa by Sinoplu Mümin bin Muqbil's Zahire-ı Muradiye and Miftahü'n-nur and Ha
