Abstract

This pilot study focuses mainiy on time-bounded effects of antidepressive medication in alcohol dependenis. General affect of alcohol dependents tends to be a depressive one which is often misperceived as depressive disorder, In fact depressive disorder and being depressed are two separate ontities. The first is an psychiatric morbidity while the latter is much of an experience within normality. The fluctatious guality of the affect is another point of importance in alcohol dependents as a result of various internal and external experiences. Therefore diagnosis of depressive disorder in this population reguires a close examination of the situation.

Alkol Bağımlılarında Depresif Semptomatoloji Üzerine Pilot Bir Çalışma

Abstract

Bu pilot çalışma temel olarak alkol bağımlılarında antidepresil medikasyonun zaman'a bağlı etkileri üzerinde durmaktadır. Alkol bağımlısının duygulanımı depresif olma 'eğilimi taşır ve bu de sıklıkla yanlış olarak depresif hastalık olarak algılanır. Oysa depresif hastalık ve depresif yaşantı farklıdır. İlki psikiyatrik bir morbidite olup ikincisi daha çök normalde yeralan bir yaşantıdır. Alkol bağımlısında iç ve dış yaşantılara bağlı olarak duygulanımda ki dalgâlanma, önemli bir noktadır. Dolayısı ile bu grupta, depresif hastalık tanısı koyarken mevcut durumun çok yakından araştırılması gerekir.
