Childhood Achalasia (Due to a Case)

Abstract

1.5 years old male ehild was accepted to our clinic due to complaints Of dysphagia, vomiting and retardation. The complaints had started tvvo monihs after birth and has been increasing steadily,Achalasia of the esophagus was diagnosed following the radiological examination of the child. Patient was operated on following the clay Uzunalimoèlu Seviik ccomplishment of liquid and elecrolyte imbalance. The complaints were releaved after operation and the child started gaining weight. The normal esophageal passage was determined by control radiological examination of esophagus.In the literatur, 5 per cent of Achalasia cases had symptomps before 15 years of age and the youngest case which is reported is 7 months old. In our case, the symptomps revealed when the child was 2 months old and therefor it is the youngest case reported in the literature,

Çocuk Akalazyası(Bir Vaka Nedeni İle)

Abstract

Çocuk Akalazyası Yutma güçlüğü, kusma ve gelişme geriliği nedeni ile kliniğe yatırdan 1.5 yaşındaki bir erkek çocukta radyolojik olarak Akalazya tesbit edilmiştir. Şikayeti doğumdan iki ay sonra başlamış ve giderek artan hastanın sıvı ve elektrolit dengesi sağlandıktan sonra ameliyata verildi. Operasyondan sonra şikayetleri tümü ile kayboldu ve kilo aldı. Radyolojik kontrolde ösofagus pasajının açıldığı tesbit edildi.Literatüre göre, Akalazyalı vakaların ancak % 5'i 15 yaşından önce semptom vermiş olup literatürde en küçük yaş 7 ay olarak bildirilmiştir. Vakamız en küçük yaşta semptom veren ve en küçük yaşta ameliyat olan vaka olarak dikkati çekmektedir.
