Atrial Miksoma'lar

Abstract

Bu.yazıda 1974-1984 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göğüs, Kalp ve Damar Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalında açık kalp ameliyatı ile tedavi edilen, sol atrial miksomalı yedi vak'a incelenmiştir. Hastalardan 5 i kadın; 2 si erkek olup, yaş ortalaması 35 tir. Ameliyat bulgusu olarak, tümörün hastaların dördünde interatrial septumdan, ikisinde sol atrium duvarından, birinde ise mitral kapak anülüsundan orijin aldığı tesbit edilmiştir. Tümör ile birlikte parsiyel septum rezeksiyonu yapılan vak'alardan birinde defekt suni yama ile, digerlerinde ise primer olarak kapatılmıştır. Tüm vak'alarda tümörün ekstirpe edilmesinin yanı sıra, iki hastada tümörün destrüksiyonuna bağlı mitral kapak deformasyonu tesbit edilmiş ve bu hastalarda mitral valv replasmanı da birlikte yapılmıştır. Uygulanan cerrahi müdahaleler nedeniyle hiçbir hasta kaybedilmemiş, yine 4 ay ile 10 yıllık takip süresi içinde rekürrens görülmemiştir.

Atrıal Myxomas

Abstract

Seven cases with left atrial myxoma treated at our clinic between 1974-1984 are presented. Five of these patients were female, two weremâle with a mean age of 35. The pedicles of the myxomas originated at the inter-atrial septum in four patients, left atrial wall in two and from the mitral valve annulus in one patient. Atrial septum was resected partialiy with the tumor and the defeci closed primarily in SİX patients and witha teflon patch in one. Two patients reguired mitral valve replacement in addition to excision of the tumor. There wasno hospital mortality and no recurrence in our follow up. .
