ABDOMINAL INJURIES

Abstract

100 cases of abdominal trauma operated at Haceltepe Medical School Department of General Surgery were reviewed. The trauma was blunt in 34 and penetrating jn 66 patients. Liver, small bowel and colon were the most commonly injured organs. The age cf the patient, the interval between the injury and the operation, the prsenee of thoracic trauma and the number of the organs injured were the determinant factors of mortality

Abstract

Ocak 1971 Temmuz 1918 tarihleri arasında Hacettepe Tıp Fakültesi Genel Cerrahi Bilim Dalında ameliyat edilen 100 karın yaralanması olgusunun dosyası incelendi. 34 hastada yaralanmanın künt, 66 şmda delici olduğu saptandı. En sık yaralanan organlar karaciğer, ince barsaklar ve kolondu. Bu çalışmada hastanın yaşı, yaralanmadan ameliyata kadar geçen süre, ek olarak göğüs travmasının bulunması ve yaralanan organ sayısının mortaliteye etki eden faktörler olduğu göze çarpmaktadır
