Mechanısm Of Erectıon
Abstract
Erection occurs by the interaction of nervous system, vascular
system, penis and its auxillary elemeni$. In the first stage of erection,
neuronal impulses produce dilatation in the penile arteries, vas0constriction
in veins (but still there is no agreemeni) and relaxation in the trabecular smooth muşcles. Most of the authors describe that, contraction
in the ischiocrural muscles makes «rigid phase of erection»
which iş the previous stage before the flaccid phase. However, fewer
number of authors explaine this process with contraction ol trabecular
smooth muscles,
